Memory #1 Alexander Rutman / Father

It was an exceedingly cold winter, even the pine trees were beginning to lose color, and it was no longer fun to have snowball fights because there was no snow to throw... just ice, and even if there was, I was inside in painfully tight tights, dancing ballet. It all started when my parents sent my sister to ballet, and I made a mistake of going there to watch her. The teacher said I was not aloud to watch... only dance so she made me put on tights. I was no good and neither was my sister but the teacher said I was excellent and she told my parent's they will only accept her if I come too (she wasn't flexible enough for ballet). I was embarrassed to tell my friends about it so I just went there every Tuesday and Wednesday to dance. The gym's walls were incredibly thin so it was just as cold inside as it was out but I couldn't wear my jacket, so I constantly had to go on trips to the bathroom( well also because I drank a lot of water). Even though I did have fun, it was not worth it. But at least I found another thing that I am better at than my sister. I was having fun until about the third month when my sister got jealous of me pointed out all my mistakes and told all my friends about it. Everybody made fun of me at school and my sister got meaner and meaner after a few more months passed my sister got sick of ballet and quit and they took me out too because I never talked about it so I guess they assumed I didn't like it.
