Memory #4 Michael Rutman

Wrapped up in my blanket I sat up coughing non stop. I was sick, really sick. I had an extremely high fever so I felt like I was in the north pole. Looking in the mirror I remember I was extremely pale, my throat was extremely soar, and my brother was a pain in the A double S. Not only did I feel bored, sad nauseous, and I felt depressed because I had already missed a week's homework and was about to lose another. After a few days not only did it get worse, well... It got much worse and It was painful just to drink the water. And watching T.V does not pay off. I remember I was really frustrated by the end of the first week because I was sick of being sick and that really blows. By the start of the second week I was sweating like the people that say “I'm sweating like a pig”. I had to change my clothes every half hour so that I won't be sleeping in a puddle. I remember I had this feeling of horrifying terror that I'll never be healthy again and that really didn't put me in the mood to watch T.V. So I was basically an angry sweaty kid laying in bed all day. I really missed my friends a lot because I am a friends kind of guy. My whole family was extremely helpful (except my brother) and my mom skipped out on work which never does. It was a really hard time and not just for me but for my whole family, because in the middle of me being sick my mom got sick too and she was still taking care of me, and we were all led to believe it started with my brother because he was sneezing since Friday.
